In Gothenburg's southern archipelago is Styrsö, which is a forested island with a lot to explore. Here you can work out in the outdoor gym, play football on the island's nice football pitch, play in the park, play tennis or walk along the island's beautiful nature trails. The cottage is located on the owner's plot beautifully nestled by the mountain and with a nice patio with outdoor furniture for cozy breakfasts. A combined kitchen with dining area and a sofa bed. The cottage has one bedroom with 2 single beds - 80cm. Inside the bedroom there is a bathroom with washing machine, shower, toilet and sink. The cottage has no TV or Internet but is intended for you who want to enjoy the peace, have a surf free holiday and instead enjoy an exciting island in the Archipelago. The cottage is best suited for the small family (2 + 2), a couple or a couple with a baby. A high chair is available for the youngest guest. On the island there are four small communities with different characters. The oldest is the village with the church from 1752, farms and old farmland. Tången is the traditional fishing village with dense settlements and winding narrow roads. In Halsvik, the well-to-do ship skippers left their mark on the buildings and Bratten got the nice summer guests. The archipelago boat calls at three different piers: Styrsö Bratten, Styrsö Tången and Styrsö Skäret. Among cliffs and beach slopes, there are plenty of viewpoints and picnic areas. From the highest point of the island, Stora Rös, you can enjoy a magnificent view of the entire archipelago. There is a bridge connection between Styrsö and Donsö so you can walk and cycle between the two islands and discover more beaches, restaurants and cozy alleys. The island is completely car-free and you can reach most things on foot. On Styrsö there are several swimming opportunities, ranging from child-friendly sandy beaches to cliffs and jetties. Utterviksbadet is located in the northwest, one kilometer from the stop Styrsö Tången. In a bay on the north side of the island is Brattenbadet, a short walk from the stop Styrsö Bratten. On the south side of the island there are also nice fishing spots. You will find shops, restaurant, health center and Café Öbergska with its beautiful herb garden, if you feel like something to eat or drink. Brattens Wärdshus also has a good tasting menu and here you can see the boats coming and going. A warm welcome to an island with activities for young and old!
