The back garden is perfect for enjoying a family afternoon with a BBQ & perfectly situated bench for those sea views! This traditional Victorian seaside town offers plenty for you to see and do. There is an abundance of restaurants, cafés and boutique shops to explore. Take a walk down the promenade and relish in the views looking right over to Morecambe Bay. The charming village of Cartmel is only 2 miles away, famed for its horse racing weekends and its sticky toffee pudding. This stunning village is well worth a visit and offers two Michelin star restaurants and a 12th-century priory. Newby Bridge, home to the Lakes Aquarium, Windermere Lake Cruises and the Haverthwaite steam train, is just 7 miles away. Known as the gateway to the lakes, you can easily access many popular towns around Cumbria including Ulverston, Ambleside, Coniston, Bowness-on-Windermere and Windermere.
