The house is set in a secluded one acre garden with abundant wild life. The colonial style house designed with many reclaimed architectural features.
Relax by the infinity pool and watch the local fishermen and abundant wildlife on the lake, from fish eagles to kingfishers, monitor lizards, monkeys, bats and fire flies. The lake is a bird watchers paradise.
Or explore the nearby World Heritage Site Galle Fort, temples, and tea plantations, swim, or surf, the beautiful white sand beaches. Take a bike ride or a boat trip on the lake or whale watching. Return for a sundowner in the ambalamba or on the jetty and watch the sunset over the lake.
If you don't have a car, you can use tuktuks to explore local tourist sites, beaches and restaurants or take a train to Galle or Matara. Airport transfers can be arranged.
