For those with children Moss Bank Park is around a 15-minute drive and occupies 34 hectares of woodland and play areas. Jumbles Country Park is also around a 10-minute drive and includes another scenic reservoir walk.
Slightly further afield a 30-minute drive will take you to Rivington Pike, which is a well-known walking and hiking landmark where you’re rewarded with one of the best viewpoints in North West England. Other attractions within a half hour drive include The Trafford Centre which is also home to Sea Life Manchester, Chill Factor’e and Lego Land. Bury Market which held 6 days a week is home to over 300 stalls, and Middlesbrook Retail and Leisure Park which is UK’s largest and offers opportunity to shop, dine and play.
