Summary: This is a fab and very economical place for seeing both Scotland and the beautiful Northumberland coast! It is such a lovely cozy place. We had glorious weather when we stayed so maybe we were a bit spoilt, however, you can not take away the fact that this areas has such a great deal to offer! It's right off the A1 so very central yet very tranquil. To the South Edinburgh an hour away, which is absolutely fabulous! To the North, OMG the coastline is amazing! Holy Island is a must! In terms of the accommodation, all very comfortable, beds are lovely and so comfortable. You are literally on sea front! Lovely sounds of the sea at night! The kitchen is quite small so don't expect to seat 5 even though it says to. The back garden is not completely secure, until you go across the party yard and enter the small garden with a gate on it. If your dog is well behaved you do not need the back as the front garden is the beach!!! There is a small space at the back for sitting out but it is not private. The bathroom is very comfortable. This is a really good place for visiting around here and was scrupulously clean and smelt lovely when we arrived. It looked like it had new carpets and newly decorated. Heather, who looks after the place was very attentive when I texted her! All in all a fab holiday!!!!!
