The Pacific Monarch building is centrally located in Waikiki, with a great variety of entertainment and dining options nearly at its doorsteps. Just a few blocks away from the building is a large concentration of shopping centers, such as Pualeilani Atrium and the International Marketplace. Lastly, this building has easy access to public transportation such as the many nearby bus stops & Biki rental bike stands.
The quality of workmanship in this newly renovated unit is close to perfection. Just some of the upgrades include: custom travertine floors, floor-to-ceiling travertine tiled bathroom, custom quartz countertops, and full quartz backsplash in the kitchen. As well as custom-built interior mahogany doors with frosted glass, and new exterior windows and sliding doors (including tinted bedroom glass).
Finally, this one-bedroom unit has a full kitchen, complete with a dishwasher, and both a King size bed and a pull-out Queen Sofa for optimum rest after a long day of exploration.

Summary: "We recently stayed at this property from December 18th to 28th, 2024. Our stay was severely impacted by the extremely noisy and ineffective air conditioning unit, creating an intolerable living environment.Noise Violation: The air conditioning unit produced constant and disruptive noise levels consistently exceeding 75 decibels, far exceeding the permitted limit for residential units. We verified this using a noise level app.Inadequate Cooling: Despite the excessive noise, the unit was ineffective at cooling the apartment. Daytime temperatures soared due to the large windows, and even at night, temperatures remained uncomfortably high.Unresponsive Host:On the third day of our stay, we reported the AC issue to the host. They stated that they were unable to fix it.On the fifth day, we researched local building codes and measured the excessive noise levels. We then contacted the host again with this information, but received no further response until after our departure.This lack of communication and the significant impact of these issues on our stay were deeply disappointing. We hope that the host will address these concerns promptly to improve the comfort and enjoyment of future guests."
