Located a short drive from Treorchy, the award winning ’Village of the Year’ with its mass of quaint shops and eateries. Ystrad Rhondda railway station is just a 2-minute walk away, with trains to Cardiff city centre taking just 40 minutes’, and the bus stop is also a 2-minute walk.
There is much to see and do in the surrounding areas; Afan Argoed Forestry Park is excellent for mountain biking and has been rated in the top ten of the world for mountain bike rides. Bike Park Wales is approximately a 30-minute drive from the property and has a huge amount of award winning tracks to explore. The stunning Brecon Beacons and Black Mountains offer breathtaking scenery and fabulous walking.
Margam Country Park is well worth a visit, with its castle, 18th-century orangery, narrow gauge railway, deer, Fairytale Land and Go Ape tree top adventure. Zip World is also just 15 minutes’ away. Visit Dan yr Ogof Showcaves.
