Summary: I was overwhelmed by the peace this place brought. Cosy cabin with all the bits you need and a beautiful outside. The beds were cosy and bathrooms clean and tidy. The owner left bits and bobs, like fresh milk in the fridge, to make it easier when you arrive if you don't have what you need. Plenty of pellets were provided for the fire and this was explained by the friendly host. The exact map location was sent to me before hand which was definitely needed. It's very dark and secluded... Which is an advantage when you're all in! (Tip: when you walk around the front door, walk on the chicken wire on the decking as I found it Slippy, but absolutely fine on the mats and wire). We explored the farm for a walk and also went to bishops castle for a wander which was nice. There is a well stocked co-op there, pretty shops and places to eat/drink. The buildings are so pretty. The TV had what you need. A dvd player too if you like. The WiFi does its job for messages, but it's not the strongest, which again worked in my favour because I wasn't always on devices, I relaxed. For example, I could video call and send messages, but couldn't upload videos for example. The hot tub was an absolute gem. So warm and lovely how it was sunk in. If you have a clear night, turn everything off . I have never seen shooting stars like it, multiple shooting stars. The sky is beautiful!!!!!!!! (Tip: be VERY careful about dropping stuff down the side of the hottub...... You don't want to be going under the decking in the pitch black, trust me!!! You do it once and you don't do it again haha). My child had an absolute blast! We played games, cuddled on the sofa, enjoyed time outside and chilled out. I will definitely be returning.
