Ancient buildings sit on every corner in Llantwit Major, one of the Vale of Glamorgan’s most beautiful villages, with the first church recorded in the settlement more than 1,500 years ago. Just 1.4 miles to Llantwit Major beach perfect for a morning stroll to take in the fresh air. Llantwit major has lots of lovely boutique shops, restaurants and pubs, there is a public house just a few yards from the property. Cowbridge which is 5 miles from the property also offers an array of shops, restaurants and bars. Enjoy cliff top walks along the Glamorgan Heritage Coast with stunning views across the Bristol Channel to Somerset and North Devon. Approx. 8 miles from the property is the beautiful Ogmore-by-Sea with its huge beach and fabulous sand dunes. The lovely beach at Southern down is close by too. For the more adventurous, the go-karting centre is just 5 miles from the property, Margam Park with Go Ape is 18 miles away, there are some beautiful walks to be had at Margam Park. The property is only 40 minutes from Cardiff great location for those attending any sporting events or concerts, jump on the train and head into the big city.
