Follow the Strathspey whisky trail to sample a wee dram, or head south to Fort Augustus where Loch Ness joins the Caledonian Canal. For the outdoor enthusiasts, mountain biking, hill walking, horse riding, golf and a variety of water sports are available nearby. Drive the popular North Coast 500 which boasts magnificent scenery, explore the Cairngorms National Park, visit the magical Isle of Skye, or from Fort William you can head up the mountain in a gondola.
