The owners of "Suite Carolina" at 15 Seaside Sparrow fell in the love with this unique property and have spent the past 4 years restoring, upgrading and enhancing it. The following are some of the special features that captured the owners: The View – an oceanfront property overlooking one of the largest pools on Hilton Head with exceptional landscaping that provides privacy rarely found in oceanfront property. The Great Room - with soaring a 20-foot beamed ceiling, spectacular ocean views, and a custom wooden spiral staircase leading to the 3rd story Crows Nest. “The Lizard Lounge” – a Carolina porch with motorized retractable doors provides spectacular ocean views and soothing sea breezes. One of the best spots in the house! The Kitchen – An open kitchen with a huge island, 15-foot octagonal ceiling topped off by the octagonal prism skylight. Butler Pantry and Bar- A copper topped butler pantry/bar opening to the great room with icemaker and refrigerator drawers. This area is ideal for setting up buffets. “Butterfly Suite” - This large master bedroom has huge windows that provide stunning ocean views. The spa-like his and her bathrooms also with dramatic ocean views exude total luxury. Crows Nest – third floor deck perfect for sunrise greetings and sunset cocktails. The quality of the renovations and upgrades are exceptional because the owners view the house as their home. Examples are the glass door Pro-Line Sub Zero in the kitchen and the mother of pearl accent walls and drawer pulls in the master bathroom. The design process began by working with a former HGTV personality to completely redecorate the home to maximize the beach feel using color while retaining and enhancing the relaxing, barefoot luxury atmosphere. The chef’s kitchen which is open to the Great Room includes a Pro-Line SubZero refrigerator/freezer, 6-burner Wolfe gas range/oven, 2 additional Dacor electric ovens, 2 Bosche dishwashers, and a walk-in pantry which includes a dumbwaiter that brings the groceries directly up to the pantry from the garage. The dining area boasts a large table with ample seating of up to 14. There’s also a game table, which seats 4, and the bar which includes a refrigerator and an icemaker. On the second floor is the “Butterfly Suite,” which features a king bed, large sitting area, and desk. There are commanding views of the ocean from almost anywhere in this suite including the 2 luxurious spa-like bathrooms. “His” comes complete with his own urinal, and “hers”, with her own bidet. The walk-in closet also contains a washer and dryer. The Crows Nest, a little spot of heaven, is reached by the spiral staircase in the great room and has a sitting area with a table and chairs. The 1st floor features 4 bedrooms. The “Turtle Suite” has direct ocean views and French doors opening to the pool. It also has a king bed, a large seating area, walk-in closet, and a bathroom with a walk-in shower. The “Gator Suite” features breathtaking ocean views. There is a king bed, walk-in closet, and a spa-like bathroom with double vanity. The “Starfish Suite,” has two queen beds, walk-in closet, and bathroom with soaking tub and walk-in shower. The “Armadillo Suite” (they are native to Hilton Head) has built-in bunk beds (three twins and a queen), bathroom with tub/shower combination, and a walk-in closet. A laundry room with large capacity washer and dryer is located on the 1st floor. The “Pelican Suite" is perched over the garage. This extra-spacious room includes a king bed and large sitting area. Attached is the “Shark Tank,” with a daybed with a trundle beneath. These 2 rooms share a private bath with shower/tub combination. A state-of-the-art audio-visual system is throughout the house including a SONOS system that provides music to each room as well as outside by the pool. Bedrooms are equipped with 60” televisions except the Butterfly Suite’s 80” and the Armadillo Suite’s 50”. The Great Room has 60”, Shark Tank has 50”, and there is a 60” outdoor television on lower deck. The first-floor covered pool deck sits high enough to provide amazing ocean views. There is an outdoor kitchen with a grill and refrigerator. In addition, there are a table and six chairs, a porch swing which is a crowd pleaser, and an outdoor TV. The pool bathroom is located here. The glistening, bright blue glass tiles in the enormous swimming pool will beckon you. The pool, long enough for swimming laps, is one of the largest residential pools on the island. In the backyard, is a built-in old-fashioned wood burning fire pit, perfect for campfires and s’mores. There’s an outdoor shower and private walkway to the beach. The home is outfitted with beach towels for guest use, wireless internet, a library of hundreds of books including everything from the complete work of Philip Roth to titles on how to master a sand castle, and numerous board games.
