Casa Nueva Luna is a beautiful Ocean front house built in 2010. Located in the North end of Playa La Saladita just 40 minutes North of Ixtapa/Zihuatanejo Airport. Playa La Saladita is a very special place, comfortable but still unspoiled by tourist overload. If you are looking for a high rise hotel, loud night clubs, and a place to show off your high fashion cloths then Playa La Saladita is not for you. But if your idea of paradise is an unspoiled stretch of beach with privacy and tranquility, then come and visit Casa Nueva Luna. Casa Nueva Luna is a third story house. The first floor has an open space area that includes Living room, Dining area follow by a full equipped Kitchen, this floor also counts with half a bathroom and a Laundry room. Kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to cook your meals. Granite counter tops and Stain Steel appliances. (also, microwave, Blender, Coffee Pot, Toaster, Nutra Bullet, Pots and Utensils.) The Living and Dining room have sliding doors which give you and excellent ocean view, when you open these doors you go into a nice front Patio which is equipped with a BBQ grill, Outside Dining table and outside Sofa Set along the front Pool (looking at the Ocean). And two hammocks. Our second Floor is where the bedrooms are located, One master Bedroom and 2 guest Bedrooms, the main master bedroom has a King size bed, full bathroom, closet and A/C. Balcony with ocean view. Room number two has a King size bed closet, A/C and Balcony with ocean view, Third bedroom has Two Queen size beds, A/C and closet. Bedroom 1 & 2 share a full bathroom. Linens Towels and Beach towels will be provided. Also, we have the basics potable water, bathing soap and toilet paper. For laundry Room please buy your detergent. The Third Floor is the Patio-Bar-Palapa, this amazing area (the favorite of all) has most amazing sunsets you had ever seen, the view you get in here is something you must experience... It is equipped with sofas and a small bar with tall chairs. This is the perfect spot for family and friends gatherings... during day time is the perfect place to read a book or take a nap. There is shading Parking available for your car(s) and the house is gated. La Saladita soroundings have many beach restaurants and small Mercados (grocery Markets) or 'Tienditas' to either eat or buy groceries to cook. The water temperatures are usually around 76-86 degrees year around. La Saladita area has tropical weather year around. Our side of the beach is private, peaceful and crowd less. If you enjoy surfing there are great waves in front of the house. At different times during the year we get cobble stone rock belt at the shore line. It is recommended to bring reef walkers shoes. La "Saladita Point" is located 5 minutes drive south from our location or another good surfing location is "The Ranch" located about 30 minutes drive north from our house. The house and Bungalows are very clean and very new so came visit us. Several major airlines fly into the airport of Ixtapa- International Airport OMA The State Name is Guerrero in Mexico Rental car agencies are available at airport like Hertz,Dollar,Alamo, Budget and Avis. Having a rental car can be useful in La Saladita, but is not necessary. Taxis are also available at the airport. If you need to change money to Mexican Pesos, there are Money Exchange places ( "Casa de Cambio" ) inside the Airport, it is recommended to change your currency into mexican Pesos. If you need to use the ATM's machine, the machine at the Airport will dispense Mexican Pesos. There are no ATM's near the house. Bring your own PESOS (cash). If you are interested in getting body massage (at the house), horse riding, surfing boards rental, etc. Socorro (House taker) will set it up for you. Also, your surfing boards can remain in storage at the beach point, no need to carry them back and forward to house, again Socorro will set up this option for you. All these types of activities will be at your own expense. We have other smaller units available; please contact us for more information. Our house takers are Socorro Cardenas and his wife Letty. They are a beautiful local family, please feel free to ask them for anything you might need. Socorro takes care of the outside of the house (garden, pool etc.) Letty is our maid. She will be at the house every other day during your stay. Her duties do not include cooking, just cleaning the house. Maid service is included with your rental.
