WITH ALL THAT SAID, WE DO NOT HAVE A BUYER FOR THE PROPERTY BUT WILL BE WORKING WITH FUTURE OWNER OF THE PROPERTY. WE HAVE DISCLOSED THERE ARE CURRENT GUESTS SCHEDULED AND ARE HONORING THEIR RESERVATIONS. PLEASE NOTE WE MAY NEED TO ASK TO SHOW THE CABIN DURING A WEEKEND STAY (FOR EXAMPLE 1 HOUR TIME SLOT AT YOUR CONVENIENCE AND YOU DO NOT NEED TO BE PRESENT). We are appreciative of all the hard work being done by the healthcare workers, local communities, and governments around the world to contain this coronavirus. Regarding your upcoming stay with us, we want you to know the safety of our guests and workers is our top priority. With that being said, from our ownership to our staff, we would like to update you on our commitment to cleanliness and your safety: We are currently blocking the 2 days before your arrival to allow our cleaning crew time to prepare the cabin. This additional time also allows the cabin to sit idle before your arrival. Cleaning Products: Our housekeeping staff uses cleaning products and procedures which are effective against viruses, including COVID-19. Guest Rooms: We use cleaning and disinfecting protocols to clean rooms after guests depart and before the next guest arrives, with particular attention paid to high-touch items. DUE TO THE ADDITIONAL TIME AND EXPENSE OF TAKING THESE XTRA MEASURES WE NEED TO COMPENSATE OUR STAFF FOR THEIR XTRA TIME AND MATERIALS. OUR ORIGINAL CLEANING/LINEN FEE WAS $50. YOU WILL NOW SEE AN ADDITIONAL $20 FEE TO COVER THE COST OF ADDITIONAL CLEANING AND LAUNDRY OF DUVET COVERS AND BLANKETS UNTIL THESE GUIDELINES ARE LIFTED. Thank you for your understanding. This cozy hide-away is newly remodeled and decorated featuring a stone fireplace, open beamed ceiling, room air conditioner, two-person soaking tub in master bath, wrap-around deck and nicely equipped kitchen. Located in Sugarloaf, 5 miles east of Big Bear, the cabin is just 10-15 minutes away from the slopes of Snow Summit and Bear Mountain ski resorts. The cabin sits on a beautifully treed lot (3 lots fully fenced) in the Mountains of Sugarloaf, providing peace and quiet. The National Forest is just 100 yards away so you can enjoy hiking, sledding, or cross-country skiing. The open layout of the cabin provides a perfect atmosphere for a cozy and relaxing get-away. We take pride in providing a comfortable, cozy, relaxing stay and take every effort to keep the cabin up to date with conveniences and decorating. THE CABIN WAS JUST RE-PAINTED AND NEW CARPET WAS ADDED TO THE BEDROOM ALONG WITH A NEW MEMORY FOAM MATTRESS COMPLETED IN OCTOBER 2017. The interior is professionally remodeled and includes a stone electric fireplace with heater in the open beamed living room. A portable air conditioning (A/C) unit is also available to cool down during those warm summer days. The beautifully designed and spacious master bathroom has a two-person soaking tub and separate shower. The bedroom has a queen bed with a forced air heater to keep you toasty during those cold snowy nights. The living room has a new queen easy to pull out sofa bed to comfortably accommodate additional guests. The half bathroom is conveniently situated off the living room. The kitchen is fully equipped with new appliances, dishes, wine glasses, coffee grinder and maker, pots and pans, food processor, and everything else you'll need to prepare a gourmet meal. Firewood is not provided. OUR NEW RENTAL POLICY INCLUDES A $50 FEE THAT INCLUDES SHEETS, TOWELS AND ROUTINE CLEANING FEE. AFTER RENTING THE CABIN OVER THE PAST 10 years we want to continue to give our guests the best possible experience staying at our cabin. We pride ourselves in providing a quality stay at affordable price throughout the years. In order to continue to provide a consistently clean and cozy cabin we have decided to provide the linens and cleaning for a $50 fee. Note - Damage to cabin shall be additional charge.
