Travel Purpose: business
Positive: Practical accommodation close to the city centre with ca. 10 minutes to walk to public transport and ca. 15 minutes to a shopping centre with a wide range of restaurants, supermarkets, etc. Great location for walks along the river Elbe as you are basically on an island in the middle of the water. You may have to circle a bit to find parking. Keys are left in a keybox and can be collected at odd hours, if required. The flat is managed remotely by a company with efficient and very friendly service via whatsapp. The unit is on the ground floor and has four single beds in two bedrooms. The bathroom is shared and only accessible via one of the bedrooms (important to note depending on the composition of your group). Good water pressure and hot water; fast heating in all rooms (I was there in winter). The kitchen has basic appliances and dishes which are all well-used but functional. There is no real lounge but a dining table and TV in the kitchen. Internet is strong in the kitchen, too (less so in the bedrooms). All in all, the place is set up as temporary workers' accommodation rather than a holiday home. At the same time, the price (when I traveled) was fair for the standard provided.
Negative: Cleaning was done very quickly after I reported to the management company, however, the place has not been deep-cleaned in a long time despite a hefty cleaning fee applied to the booking. Thin, low-quality mattresses.
