Our intention with Zen in West End was to preserve the vernacular Queensland architecture of this 1910 worker’s cottage, and seamlessly integrate it with the space, warmth, comfort and luxe styling that modern travellers expect. We know you'll love the open flow and calm space of the house, and when you step onto the deck and stand under the palms and frangipanni tree and then spot the outdoor shower and bath, you'll know you've found your zen. Zen offers an unbeatable way to experience the funky village vibe of West End and its buzzing surrounds. At the end of a great day exploring or working, Zen is an idyllic hideaway to breathe, sit back, recharge, and plan your next adventure. The main house welcomes the outdoors in, with a spacious with a large open plan kitchen/living/dining area that opens onto a huge covered deck with outdoor bath/shower and yard. With 5 bedrooms / 4 bathrooms + powder room, the house is perfect for adults sharing or a large family. The upstairs has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, powder room, kitchen and open plan living out to the back deck and garden, while downstairs there is a 4th bedroom and bathroom, laundry and a connecting, fully self contained, studio with it's own front patio and vege/herb garden. Whether you kick on for just three nights, or chillax for a few weeks, once you step inside Zen, and imbibe the tranquil urban vibe, you will not want to leave.
