This 3 bedroom /2.5 bathroom home offers plenty of space for families or groups of friends, beachy vibe, spacious living areas, and a modern kitchen equipped with a full array of gadgets for easy meal preparation. Play a lawn game in the private/fenced backyard or relax and soak up the sun on the outdoor deck, complete with comfortable seating and a grill for barbecues. The yard also features a storage shed so you can easily store your bikes and beach gear! Looking for relaxation? Feel the sand beneath your toes and listen to the waves crashing along the shore at Manasquan Beach located just a short car or bike ride away. Or perhaps you want to take a trip into NYC and do some sight-seeing. The train station is a little over a mile away. Whatever your reason for visiting… we think you are going to love your stay!
A LITTLE ABOUT THE SPACE…
Our Cozy Cottage close to the Jersey Shore has everything that we could think of to make your stay as enjoyable as ours. The first floor features the kitchen with sliders leading to the backyard deck, a family room (with a Smart TV for your apps and Sony speaker), a guest bathroom (1/2 bath) and laundry closet (washer/dryer replaced in March 2023). The second floor features three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The Primary Bedroom is a good size space with a king bed, nightstands, tabletop fan, walk-in closet with an organization system and Smart TV for your apps (the primary bathroom offers a stall shower). The 2nd bedroom features 2 twin beds and reach-in closet with an organization system (inside the closet you will find an air mattress and tabletop fan). Bedroom 3 features a queen size bed, 2 nightstands, a desk (that can also be a standup desk) and walk-in closet with an organization system (air mattress, pack-n-play and tabletop fan located in the closet). The hall bathroom features a shower over the tub. All furniture including mattresses’/bedding, were purchased in 2022/2023.
Stepping back on the first floor, the sliding doors leading from the kitchen out onto the deck features patio seating, with umbrellas and a propane gas grill. The backyard is gated and shaded and there are some yard games in the shed. Under the deck there is another outdoor furniture set that you can pull onto the lawn if you chose.
ACCESS FOR OUR GUESTS:
Guests have exclusive access to the entirety of the home, yard, and property. The only areas which have been made unaccessible to guests are the unfinished basement and garage, which are utilized by the property owners for storage, as well as linen closets.
Guest access to the home is by a smart lock system, which entry will be provided the day of your stay. Every guest will be provided a unique code, valid during their stay.
THE AREA:
Conveniently located to Downtown Manasquan, the train station if you want to commute into NYC, the Manasquan Inlet perfect for paddleboarding and kayaking, the Jersey Shore, free fireworks and concerts on the beach (in the summertime), fishing and marinas, Point Pleasant Boardwalk is a short drive away, dining, shopping, outdoor entertainment and so much more! Upon arrival you will find a booklet on the Kitchen table with lots of good information about your vacation home and the area. And for our Summer visitors, the home comes with 8 beach badges, some beach chairs, umbrella, tent, beach toys, boogie board... all the things to make it a fun summer stay!
A FEW OTHER ITEMS TO NOTE...
We just purchased this home in 2022 and this is the first time this property has been on VRBO, hence the current lack of reviews. We can assure you, we take pride of ownership in our home and strive to provide you with an enjoyable and memorable experience. *** We provide linens, beach towels & (8) Manasquan Beach beach badges. We ask that all be returned (exit instructions are provided in a manual at the house).
Please be advised, the property has exterior security cameras and they are on the exterior of the home only. They are located in the doorbell, above the back porch sliding door and the flood light on the side above the garage. We do not watch them, but if we need to access them, they do have recording options set on them. For questions regarding this please feel free to ask. If you are not comfortable with the exterior cameras then perhaps another home will better suit your VRBO needs.
