Moss Lake Lodge is not simply a house on a lake...it is a lodge vacation experience where you can rest and relax in the company of family and friends! Completed in 2007 and located on the beautiful North Shore of Lake Bridgeport, our private dock sits on deep water, with water levels adequate for swimming and boating, even when overall lake levels are low. The lodge comfortably sleeps 13 in beds, and, with bedding brought from home, our comfortable downstairs couches could also provide two extra spots for the night. It is also worthy to note that our upstairs balcony bedroom has provided enough floor space, in the past, for guests bringing a pack-and-play. The primary purpose for any stay at the lodge is to enjoy the great outdoors! Our tiered patios, fully completed in 2014, provide many options for cooking, entertaining and having fun. The upper patio offers the best of both worlds, with covered table seating and sunny lounging areas. Our middle patio provides a private barbecuing area, featuring a five burner propane grill, a standard charcoal grill and a 38 in. propane smoker. The lower patio includes built-in stone bench seating as well as Adirondack chair seating around a stunning fire pit. All stone patio facades also feature built-in lighting for nighttime enjoyment and safety. For private relaxation, guests can also enjoy the upstairs balcony, equipped with rustic rocking chairs for two. If you have kids who need to run...no problem! Our yard provides ample lawn space for plenty of play, even for adults who want to pitch their own washers or set up horse shoes. If water is what you crave, then you will love our two-story dock with recent aluminum decking and half-canopy cover (upgraded in 2014). Swim, sunbathe, fish or tie up your boat or jet skis all at the dock! Beneath the canopy also lies the perfect spot for a cup of coffee and a sunrise or a late afternoon cocktail and a sunset. You can also enjoy the dock at night! Kids will love watching fish flock around our underwater green light. With lighting at the dock itself and along the pathways, you can traverse the hill after dark with ease. For added convenience, Northside Marina is located within walking distance of the lodge and offers groceries, gas and watercraft rentals. Need to sleep more than 15???
