The Boone Fork is the water coming from Price Lake on the Blue Ridge Parkway, with Simms Creek, Green Branch, and Bee Tree Creek (all on Park Service Land) flowing into the Boone Fork before entering Twin Rivers. Boone Fork is the only stream in the entire Watauga River Basin that is classified as “Outstanding Resource Waters.” The NC Division of Water Quality classified the water quality of the Creek as “excellent.” The Creek also supports exemplary natural communities and a number of rare plant and animal species.
This cabin on the river truly offers a unique opportunity for solitude or solidarity in one of the most beautiful and enticing natural settings available in the High Country.
