THE SPACE:
❁ This adorable 2-story 1,300+ sq. ft. home comes with plenty of space and comfortable amenities!
Bedroom:
❁ With 3-bedrooms and very comfortable spacious beds (King, King and Queen) upstairs. TV in every room and it streams Hulu and Netflix.
Living room:
❁ Extra pull-out queen sofa beds in the living room downstairs. Smart TV in the living room and it streams.
Kitchen:
❁ Kitchen comes with utensils, oil, spices, sugar, coffee, etc. and a brand new range now!
Bathroom:
❁ A full tub bath upstairs and a full shower bath on the main floor.
Additional info:
❁ There 2 large separate 3+ ton central AC units - one for upstairs and one for downstairs to keep our guests very comfortable in every weather. It can serve freezing cold air in hot summers and hot air in freezing winters (Yes, it can get cold once a while in DB)! Wi-Fi, laundry and ample parking is also available to the guests. Our philosophy is to keep it simple without compromising in comfort! Pictures don’t do justice as they are non-HDR but maintaining clean linen, clean house and clean property is important for us! Fresh bedding and towels after every stay! Beach towel also available for beach.
There is a porch to sit and relax with your friends and family. You will feel local by being few houses away from the beach and be able to walk up to the beach anytime. You can even hear the ocean in most quiet nights or see the night mist as well. We highly recommend early morning and late evening walks to further appreciate what Daytona Beach is all about. It is ideal for responsible family and friends looking to stay & explore the beach together anytime of the day.
Apart from live in space - Daytona Beach is a really unique and an amazing beach unlike other Florida beaches! The beach is flat & shallow for hundreds of feet without getting deep. The sand is soft, and beaches are well maintained and regularly cleaned on daily basis (No ugly seaweed or trash). Shallow beach is great for both kids and adults alike that love to walk into the ocean (Sit or swim) before water hits the chest line.
This was a big plus for us look for a house where our guests can also enjoy, explore and access the same beach while staying at the comfort of a home. You can walk straight into the beach via park so no hotels or commercial areas to walk around (Unlike other rentals). Short walk to two brand new beachside restaurants is a big plus, or just walk/order from the nearby pizza hut if craving one.
Note: Due to stairs, please keep an eye on kids & infants. We will provide baby gates for additional safety.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
❁ Max guest capacity overnight - Eight (8). EXACT guest count should be reflected in the booking regardless of the age.
❁ Max home capacity - Ten (10) between 12:00 PM - 10:00 PM only!
❁ Max number of vehicles - Two (2) per person. If more than 3 vehicles, please inform us.
This zero tolerance rules when broken will result in immediate eviction. This is for safety and security of everyone including guests, home, neighbors and owners.
GUEST ACCESS:
❁ Guests are renting the entire home you see pictured in the listing. Wi-Fi , washer and dryer and parking spots provided. Ample parking on the street as well. Please note that there is a separate stand alone/independent guest house (Garage conversion) located in the back corner of the property (Rented to a long term tenant). This will not impact your stay in any way and they have their own private access from the back alley. We also have a vehicle of ours stored in the backside out of the way - we appreciate guests leaving it untouched.
GUEST INTERACTION:
❁ If we are around, definitely open to a chat, but we like keeping our guests enjoy their privacy and feel at home.
NEIGHBORHOOD OVERVIEW:
❁ Central area to both accessing and blocks from International Highway to exit the shores. Very quiet at night - and like any neighborhood you may see a few friendly folks occasionally walk their dogs around or having a conversation outside.
GETTING AROUND:
❁ Just take international drive all the way to the beaches and we are a few blocks south!
OTHER THINGS TO NOTE:
❁ Please respect the place as yours and leave it as clean as possible.
❁ Despite an old and a sturdy house, no jumping, running, or loud music or any abuse of the place. Loud vehicles should be kept tamed.
❁ Daytona beachside is seeing a huge revival after long abandonment. Construction is everywhere (Hotels to homes), and even though it is very quiet here, some neighbors may be doing some work during daytime.
❁ Please rinse off all possible sand before entering the house, and dust off all possible clothing before using the washer and dryer.
❁ Being in tropical weather means a few bugs, insects and pests outside or inside. Nothing harmful, and while we strive to keep the house pest free, you may see them occasionally!
❁ House is only for the number of guests during bookings, especially for overnight stay. Any additional guests beyond number of guests booked can automatically result in refusal of service and immediate eviction.
❁ Please request grill usage in advance, and try to minimize gas wastage and take all precautions! Since it will be difficult to monitor usage, we will not refill, but will appreciate if you do in case it runs out.
❁ Cameras - Please be aware that we have a visible surveillance camera inside the house - which guests can disconnect as soon as they enter. This is also mentioned in our welcome instructions. There are outside visible security cameras in the back (Independent) apartment facing parked car, gate, and the backyard for security purposes which we occasionally check. If you have any concerns, please let me know right away, or as part of your inquiry. Area is safe but having this helps with additional comfort.
IMPORTANT:

❁ Max home capacity - LIMITED between 12:00 PM - 10:00 PM only!
❁ Music, sound, etc. should be immediately contained, especially if we get notified by the neighbors. They understand people having fun but they are also our friends and we want to ensure long term hosting as our goal to host many more guests.
