When you’re wanting to get outside and enjoy the sunshine, step out to the private backyard and play games on the lawn or lounge on the patio!

Guest Access:
Our guests will have access to the entire home and backyard, with ample parking on the street out front. Please note that the garage has been converted to an ADU studio apartment that is rented out.

Sunnyside is an ideal location to explore all of Denver, and what the surrounding area has to offer. You are a stone’s throw away from Rocky Mountain Lake Park, the Highland and Berkeley Neighborhoods, and delicious eats, coffee shops, and breweries. Explore a little further, and you’ll get to bustling Tennyson Street and Downtown Denver. Looking to recharge in the mountains? Hop onto I-70, and you can experience breathtaking hikes and views within an hour.

One of Colorado's main draws is Rocky Mountain National Park, which makes for a great day trip. Drive 1.5 hours through a dramatic canyon for a day of hiking, sightseeing, and wildlife viewing. Depending on your destination, skiing is 1-3 hours away. Locals head to Echo Mountain, Eldora (near Boulder), or Loveland (near Georgetown) for a more low-key experience. We're also within a few hours of Arapahoe Basin, Breckenridge, and Copper Mountain.
This location is the perfect jumping-off point for exploring the best of Denver and the Rockies! But, of course, it's impossible to see everything in one visit, so we look forward to hosting you again after you fall in love with Mile High Life.
Getting Around:
If you've never been to Denver, getting oriented is easy. The Rocky Mountains are to the West, and Downtown is East of where you will be staying. I-70 West will take you into the mountains and straight to the ski areas, while I-70 East intersects with I-25 to access Fort Collins to the North and Colorado Springs to the South. The 36 takes you to Boulder and eventually the Rocky Mountain National Park gateway towns of Lyons and Estes Park.
Denver is a highly walkable city. In addition to nearby Highland and Berkeley, the RiNo Art District and LoDo (Lower Downtown) are excellent choices for strolling. Prefer to do your exploring on two wheels? Grab a B-Cycle and get pedaling! For those without a car, we recommend utilizing Uber or Lyft. Premier attractions such as City Park, Denver Zoo, and Denver Botanic Gardens are a short, inexpensive ride away. Get exploring!

We operate on an honors system.We appreciate your courtesy.
