Step into our unique tiny house retreat, where retro vintage design meets modern comfort. Ideal for one or two slender individuals, the comfy bed is a cozy nest for restful nights. Revel in the fantastic views that surround you, or find peace in the private, unenclosed yard complete with a hammock. Our space includes a convenient shower, bathroom, and a kitchenette equipped with a French press for your morning brew. Explore awesome hikes, or envoy the community yoga and meditation dome.
The space
Everyone who walks in is instantly charmed. Wonderland has a
very comfy memory foam bed - 1800 thread count sheets, fluffy blanket, tons of pillows and a heater to keep you toasty, or a fan to cool you off. Wrap around vintage windows to enjoy the million dollar views, sunrise, sunset and star gazing.
Wonderland has the largest private yard of all our units, if you like the indoor/outdoor living, she is perfect for you. We added outside her own personal patch of fake grass, hammock with stand and picnic table overlooking thousands of acres of rolling hills, Taos Mountains, and the Rio Grande Gorge. We just added a fence for more privacy and a little tree that someday will grow to be a huge shade tree.
You have your own kitchen with coffee maker, oven, stove, small fridge, retro dining booth, hammock, & fire pit to stargaze. Small bath, shower, toilet and sink. Yep, everything you need to feel like you are at home.

Bring your favorite snacks so you can simply relax once you get here. This a quiet retreat with million dollar views and the peace is astounding!
Totally safe and private for people wanting a retreat, a serene sanctuary --unwind and feel free to explore hiking trails right out of your place! Guests seem to love the quiet, relaxation and the land is perfect for meditation.
Mamby update: June 2021: The BLM government agency that manages Mamby is going to soon close driving access to the springs, and soon hiking access, so ask us about how to access it! Soak in Mamby Hot Springs (.7 mile hike) a famous springs on the Rio Grand River right by our place! Kayak, tube or raft level 1-4! Hot air ballooning , so many activities 10/15 minutes to town of Taos. 30 minutes to world famous Taos Ski Valley.
Great dining, markets, art galleries. 10 miles from #earthships, #RioGrandeGorgeBridge. Perfect place to read, write, paint, chill out.

Guest access
You can park right behind Wonderland and in addition to your own private yard, you will have access you can also use our community yoga dome, a 900 square foot yoga/meditation dome.
We have a back gate leading to thousands of miles of hiking, and exploring. We have a few casitas so there will be other people here sharing the land and yoga dome, however we have so much land and space nobody ever notices! Endless hikes and enjoy the Rio Grande River.
This land is not good for wheel chairs or crutches. Please know there are rocks, gravel, and 2 stairs to get to the doorway.

Wonderland of Taos is a remodeled retro tiny house with attitude and style!
She has a comfy full bed to snuggle in, a cool 1950’s diner style cafe feel with a plush dinette table, a hip small and functional kitchen, propane stovetop and an oven perfect to make late night cookies, a small shower, running hot and cold water, toilet, sink, (a brand new water heater in fact) plenty of plates, silverware (not grandma's China) cups, mugs, wine glasses , towels...and million dollar views!
She has new plumbing, water heater, sinks - we have poured a lot of love into her and love sharing Wonderland with our guests.

We can help book activities like river rafting, or hot air balloons.
Please take your trash out and don't leave food out. If you do you may have a mouse visitor or ants. This is their land too.
