This Eastern Upper Peninsula cabin sits in a wooded area, across the road from Wolfe Bay on the the beautiful South Manistique Lake, three miles West of Curtis, Michigan and just over an hour West of the Mackinac Bridge. This cabin, built in 2005, features thirteen hundred beautifully appointed square feet. Three bedrooms sleep ten comfortably. The kitchen features a conventional oven, microwave and refrigerator/freezer and is fully stocked with everything but food. There is a full bath with tub/shower. A second bath features a walk-in shower. There is a picnic deck and fire ring for campfires. The cabin is within a mile of entrance to the Upper Peninsula snowmobile trail system and is fully winterized for winter guests with a gas/log stove in the living area. Enjoy ping-pong in the recreation room and a boat launch and fishing pier within walking distance at no charge. Snow machine, boat, jet-ski and quad 4-wheel ATV rentals are available at the Fish & Hunt Shop in Curtis. Boat rentals are also available through Curtis Service. Although there is no swimming beach on Wolfe Bay, there are several swimming sites in the Curtis area on the Manistique Lakes. No pets or smoking. No phone, but cell phone receives coverage. No television service, but guests enjoy a 25” screen hooked up to VHS/DVD. Guests bring their own paper products and linens. Guests are required to remove their own trash. Area Attractions: Tahquamenon Falls, Seney National Wildlife Refuge, Pictured Rocks on Lake Superior in Munising, Oswald Bear Ranch, Great Lakes freighters through locks at Sault Ste. Marie, Great Lakes Shipwreck Museum, Several Great Lakes lighthouses, Agawa Canyon Tour Train, Fayette State Park Ghost Town and Mackinac Island.
