Start by getting a birds-eye view – there’s a hang gliding launch point just 6 miles from our front door. First timer? Reach out to us for the scoop on instructors. If you’d rather keep your feet on the ground, hop on the hiking trails - just 1.5 miles from the house – and climb to panoramic vistas of Raccoon Mountain, Lookout Valley and more. Nine miles from home, Rock City grants you the chance to see seven states from the tippy-top of Lookout Mountain. On your way up, find a little magic at Fairyland Caverns and Mother Goose Village. And if that’s not enough to fill your days, we’ve got more: visit Ruby Falls, a 145-foot underground waterfall 15 minutes from home, ride up Lookout Mountain on the Incline Railway in St. Elmo, 10 minutes away, or learn history first hand at Chickamauga Battlefield, 15 minutes away. And last but certainly not least, there’s downtown Chattanooga to explore – just 14 miles from our front door. Here, you’ll find a vibrant downtown area with fabulous restaurants (we know most of them), hole-in-the-wall coffee shops, shopping on the NorthShore and everything from an aquarium and 3D IMAX theater to the Chattanooga Choo Choo. At the end of the day, your private slice of Lookout Mountain wilderness will be waiting to welcome you home. IMPORTANT THINGS TO NOTE: • Maximum occupancy at all times is 4 people. • Primary responsible renter must be 25 years of age. • We require a photo of your ID and a photo of yourself as well as your signature on our rental agreement to complete your reservation. We will send a reservation confirmation email to you, and the e-doc rental agreement is located at the bottom of that email (green tab) Please complete all lines on the rental agreement. * Pet Friendly -maximum of 3 pets allowed. We do charge a pet fee of $49 per animal. Pets are required to be crated when you are not present in the house with them during the daytime and evening hours. Pets are NOT allowed on the furniture and bedding during your stay, and to remove all pet waste from the yard. Note: Most of our properties are rural and wooded. Please do not expect a perfectly manicured lawn. We cut a little here and there when we see fit to do so. • We do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, handicap, familial status, or national origin. We love guests of all types as long as they pay for the use of the property and take good care of that property during their stay.
