Summary: Nice little secluded cabin in the woods. As it is not a hotel, you should expect to find cobwebs etc inside of the property since it is in the middle of the woods-so, overall cleanliness was what I expected. The only negatives were-The kitchen sink handle needs to be repaired. It is very loosely attached to the countertop and the handle would continuously come off during use. 2. It was absolutely freezing upstairs. The welcome email mentioned ordering firewood on a kiosk in the hallway, but there was no kiosk anywhere. We went down the road to purchase firewood which definitely helped defrost us in the main living area but I would highly recommend bringing a few extra heavy blankets. IT IS EXTREMELY DARK outside, again to be expected in the middle of the woods but also terrifying going outside at night with mounds of bear poop feet away from the front door. I would suggest the owner replace some of the burnt out bulbs and maybe invest in a spotlight for travelers safety. Lastly, the internet. There is WiFi but after trying to figure out what the connection issue was we discovered that the internet cord to the modem is very finicky. The WiFi appears as connected but would have connection issues so often we weren’t able to get anything playing. All in, it was an enjoyable quick get away with family.amenities provided made the stay very comfortable. A little TLC in the spring and this place returns to being a true hidden gem.
