Positive: We really enjoyed our last minute stay at Whitemoss Lodge. The pod was clean, comfortable, and surprisingly spacious. Any enquiries we had (more cutlery, BBQ tools) were answered very quickly. The outdoor area with hot tub and firepit was private, and we loved bbqing over the firepit and enjoying the hot tub. Having breakfast delivered to the pod was a lovely touch - above and beyond really - I've stayed in a few pods before and none of them offered this. We met our host Suzanne, her partner (who greeted us and showed us how to use the hot tub) and another lady on site and all were very friendly. I wish we had stayed another night and I will definitely be returning! The pods are easy to get to, close to Dunning if you wanted to go to the pub or buy food and drink, and are surrounded by lovely country views.
Negative: There was nothing I didn't like however my only note would be that I found the mattress quite uncomfortable - however I understand that it's impossible to please everyone with mattresses. I still managed to sleep, and would be happy with bringing my own mattress topper in future if I thought I'd have an issue again.
