Stunning detached villa in private location overlooking 10th fairway of America course, one of three championship golf courses on the exclusive La Cala Resort. White Lodge villa has amazing panoramic views to the mountains and golf course yet is only 6 minutes walk from the Clubhouse and Hotel/ Wellness Spa and Restaurants. The small town of La Cala de Mijas is just 12 minutes drive away with bars, shops, restaurants and a lovely beach.
The open-plan villa is on 2 levels with huge covered terraces which are in sun all day. The landscaped terraced gardens also include several seating areas, outside dining area with awning, a barbecue area and at the lower level, a private kidney shaped pool with shower.

Summary: Good location but a little out of the way. Lovely villa throughout. Great facilities inside and out as per advert. One air con in bedroom did not work. Pool great but v deep at one end so not great for standing playing ball games. Mosquitos quite prevalent and ants! Skirted over as an issue but if you leave out anything sugary fir more than an hr (even in cupboards) they will be into it! Local town Cala de mijas was ok but not much there for a family with teenagers. Better places further away. Overall good, but not great.
