Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: Quiet and secluded, lovely deck in the trees. Hot tub nice after hiking.
Negative: Cabin needs some maintenance. Fireplace did not work entire week even after we reported trouble. Upper windows covered in gray dirty film and loads of spider webs. There is absolutely NO place to put clothes in loft area, no hooks, closet, nor dresser. Only one tiny bedside table for two beds. Spiral staircase seriously dangerous due to tiny treads and steepness, especially when going down to bathroom during night. There is no bathroom in loft area. Neither sleeping area has any privacy. Even a retractable curtain would be an improvement. There are several remotes yet no explanation as to what remote is for. Also, the light for driveway was not working, so it was difficult to see steep dropoffs along edges of driveway and steps up to porch entry. Son had to replace bulb in the porchlight that was burned out. As for directions, the signage for entrance to cabin neighborhood is very poor. Extremely difficult to locate after dark. Better lighting at resort entrance and bigger sign for turn to the cul de sac this cabin located on is needed. The GPS WILL take you to the wrong location!
