This exceptionally private, hand crafted cabin is located on beautiful Seneca Lake; in the heart of the Seneca Lake wine trail! This custom two bedroom cabin offers respite to guests of all ages. With nearly two acres of landscaped grounds, there is room for the whole family to spread out. The cabin features a screen porch with dining table, small deck, appealing galley style kitchen, spacious living room overlooking the lake, rustic dining table, full bathroom with shower and washer/dryer, and the master bedroom with queen bed all on the first floor. The loft features a full bed and two single beds, a reading area with rocker, and a full bathroom with shower. The stairs to the waterfront are gradual. The lakefront is natural, and does have some sediment buildup near the shoreline from an area stream. The water depth is extremely gradual; great for wading. The permanent dock does have a hoist available for a fishing boat or runabout. The large deck near the shore is a perfect location for sun bathing or enjoying a cocktail. Whispering Pines is conveniently located about halfway between Watkins Glen and Geneva, NY. Enjoy the Seneca Lake wine trail, or visit some of the other Finger Lakes. The town of Penn Yan, on Keuka Lake, is approximately 15 minutes away. Whatever you choose, Whispering Pines is sure to provide the relaxing vacation you've been waiting for! RR Tracks run behind this property. Note: Smoking is not allowed in any rental property. Homes are not handicap accessible, unless stated in description. Where pets are allowed it is indicated. Otherwise, pets are not allowed. Homes are not guaranteed allergen-free, even those that do not allow pets. All of our vacation rentals are professionally cleaned by our trained housekeeping staff in between each reservation. We continue to maintain the highest housekeeping standards. We use a CDC-approved commercial grade disinfectant on all hard and soft surfaces throughout each home with increased focused on high touch point areas such as light switches, doorknobs, remotes, etc. These efforts provide you the peace of mind to experience a sanitized, clean, and disinfected home to enjoy. All of our rentals include professionally cleaned linens from our laundry facility that are washed, bleached, folded and wrapped by our staff wearing PPE. We do not outsource any linens, towels, or cleaning supplies. All of our guests also have the security of a local 24/7 manager on duty to respond to their needs throughout their stay.
