After a day at the beach, rinse off in the heated outdoor shower and walk two minutes to one of the best restaurants in Westport the Back Eddy.Westport offers quaint coffee and ice cream shops, a variety of great restaurants like The Westporter, The Bayside, Ten Cousins Brick Oven, Bittersweet Farm, and The Cask and Pig. If a local cocktail is on your list of things todo, visit Buzzard's Bay Brewery and the Westport River Vineyard and Winery both only a few miles away.
Looking for adventure, grab a kayak out of the shed and head to the Westport River only a 2 minute walk from the house. The river is also an excellent place to paddle board and fish. Be sure to walk/hike the more than 2 miles of breathtaking beach and take advantage of the new bike paths only .2 miles away. When the surf is up, join the locals at the best surf spot in the area located at the end of our street.
Take the 10 minute drive to nearby Adamsville, RI and have breakfast at our favorite The Barn or visit Ground Swell Cafe and Bakery in nearby Tiverton, RI for locally roasted coffee and European inspired pastries before taking a drive through stunning Little Compton.
For a day trip, visit Newport, RI or take the ferry from nearby New Bedford to Martha's Vineyard. The Westport area also offers family activities like mini-golf, a driving range, bumper boats, bowling alley, outdoor go-kart race track, and a movie theater all within a short drive.
