Positive: I had a fantastic stay at this hotel and would gladly return! The location is perfect: just a short walk from Westport town centre, making it easy to explore the area without needing a car. My room was incredibly spacious and comfortable, and I really appreciated being given a quiet room with a small balcony, just as I had requested. The Wi-Fi connection was excellent throughout my stay, which was a big plus. The on-site restaurant was a pleasant surprise: both the food and the prices were great, making it a convenient and enjoyable option for dinner. Breakfast was included and absolutely fabulous, with plenty of delicious choices to start the day right. Although I didn’t get a chance to try the spa, everything else was spot on. My tip: if you're a light sleeper or prefer a peaceful setting, ask for a quiet room away from the busy Castlebar road. Highly recommend this hotel, I really enjoyed my stay and hope to be back soon!
Negative: Overall, I enjoyed my stay at this hotel, but one small downside for me was the use of moquette (carpet) in the room. Personally, I’m not a fan of it for hygiene and aesthetic reasons. That said, I know it’s a fairly common feature in hotels across Ireland, so it wasn't entirely unexpected.
