The boat dock is close to the cottage and fishing opportunities can be found in the fjord and the mountain lake. The rivers in Etne and Vikedal also invite you to try river fishing. If you want to hike, we recommend Stavanger's Postweg, which is the closest hiking trail. On this route you have a beautiful view of Sunnhordaland and Folgefonna. Mountain hikes from Skånevik town center to Håfjellet, Juraskarskjerringa and Kjærlighetstien are acuh possible. 10 km from the cottage is Skånevik with restaurant, bakery and stores. In the summer it is a lively village that hosts many cultural events, such as festivals. From the cottage it is also not far to Etne. For a longer trip, Haugesund can be a destination. You can also take car trips along the Åkrafjord and Hardangerfjord and enjoy the beautiful scenery. Hot water in bathroom, but not in kitchen.
