"REEL ESCAPE" , is a 2-bedroom, 1-bath vacation rental home on Turtle Bay in Palacios, Texas with current accommodations for up to 6. "REEL ESCAPE" has a 300' private pier with 2 LED Green Lights, fish cleaning table and dock for your boat. House has a large deck overlooking Turtle Bay for beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Kid friendly environment on Jensen's Point, bring their bikes and kayaks, they can ride around the point and enjoy playing in the water. There is a shade area right next to the water to enjoy listening to the sounds of the bay while enjoying your favorite beverage. There is a community boat ramp with a kayak launch on the point very close to the property. Enjoy good fishing year round. Palacios has local shops, restaurants, a public 9 hole golf course, outstanding bird watching, kayaking, and more!
All appliances, water heater and furnishings are brand new. Kitchen is fully furnished including a Keurig. Towels and linens are provided. BEACH TOWELS ARE NOT PROVIDED please bring your own, We have a washer and dryer located upstairs for your use. Crab Traps are available downstairs to set out along the pier during your stay. We provide a gas grill and make every effort to keep propane available but we do not guarantee propane , new bottles are available at several retailers in Palacios
Properties with location and views are priceless in our opinion, this is the last house on the waterfront side of Jensen's Point, the sun moves east to west over the house in a manner that you can sit on the decks all day and not get parched from the sun. Views are fantastic and the fishing is good year round, The Jensen Point community comprises mostly of owners weekend homes, is very kid friendly and safe.
Bring the kids bikes, kayaks and let them enjoy all there is here at the point. Perfect for a quiet weekend away for mom and dad also.
The community boat ramp is new (completed Dec 2021) with a nice T head for launching your boat. there is a kayak launch at the new ramp also.

We acquired this home on Feb 1 2020, basically gutted the interior and started over. The home floor-plan is 2 bedroom, 1 bath upstairs. We will continue the downstairs remodel at a later date to add an additional bedroom and bathroom downstairs . At that time the home will be 3 bedroom, 2 full bath with accommodations for 10 or 11 people.
