3 Bedroom Cottage in Fort Morgan, Gulf Shores
Welcome to our beach home and happy place. We hope you enjoy our home as much as we do. The home is located in the quiet and peaceful Rookery I and II Community across the street from the beach.
One of our favorite things to do is to sip our morning coffee on the screened porch and watch the wildlife and listen to the ocean. After breakfast, we head to the beach for a day riding the waves. After a day at the beach, we love to take a dip in the main pool, which has a zero entry and makes for a great time with the little ones. Later we enjoy the hot tub and a round of tennis on the tennis court.
For dinner, we stop by the Seafood Store and Boozey Butcher on the way in and pick up steaks and fish to grill on one of our 2 grills available (1 gas, 1 charcoal) or dine at one of several restaurants nearby. Our Favorite restaurants are the Sassy Bass Amazin Grill which is less than a mile away and have great oysters and beverages. Tacky Jack's is about 4 miles away where you can dine on the water and have dessert at the ice cream store next door while watching the boats come into the marina. Another favorite is the outdoor live music at the other Sassy Bass (about 4 miles in the other direction ) while sipping drinks at the tiki bar. You really can't go wrong and with our best kept secret, Ft. Morgan is less crowded with shorter wait times at restaurants and more beach privacy than other beaches around.
