Summary: Overall, a very nice stay at Wave Crest. It’s an older property that’s not a traditional hotel as there is no bar/restaurant or lobby area. The room was a decent size with a nice view of the ocean. There was a Murphy queen size bed which is a little odd. Plus there is no air conditioning. The weather was fine for the dates we stayed, but I could see it getting very warm during summer months. They have their own parking lot and the parking is free. Location is very good as it’s a stone throw away from the ocean and only 1-2 blocks from the main strip in Del Mar.
