Summary: The upper apartment was pretty nice with decks on two sides. The walls are pretty thin so hopefully you won't have partiers in the unit below you because you can hear conversations fairly well. However, the guys below us were very loud talkers. Thankfully they quieted down each night before midnight and left after the weekend. It could have been worse. You can see the sunset through the properties across the street. Also, if your priority to be within walking distance to the beach it's less than a 1/4 mile to a public access point. Nice snorkeling off the beach where the jetty's - saw huge snook, mullet, rays, and a host of other species. Clarity was mediocre. We didn't like the spring break scene but with it being March it should be expected. Warning to parents with teenage kids, the beach scene has become obscene with band-aid bikinis and such. All that said, we would rent here again if our priority was St. Pete Beach the host was really nice and the apartment immaculate as we have come to expect with all the VRBO's we stay in.
