Watermelon Cottage is a quaint A Frame Florida Cottage just one block to the beach and 2 blocks to Seaside, Fl. Bought by a new owner and renovated in 2015, updated 2016 and managed by owner as of 8/2016. Awesome , 150 yds to Thyme public beach walkover, 50 yds down to beach. 1.5 min walk. 200 yds to Seaside by walking to Grove St., 1.5 min. 550 yds to the center of Seaside town, 5 min. Ride your bike and you are there in a flash!!! Seaside town has movie night, concert night, loads of food trailers and restaurants, and shops for your enjoyment without even getting in a car!!!! Outdoor: A large adorable, open living porch that is completely and newly screened for your comfort. You enter the outdoor porch to go into the front door of the house. Porch size is approximately 15 ft by 22 ft and has a comfortable swing, a table for 4 for outdoor eating or playing games, an outdoor sofa with end tables to sit and relax and feel the cool breezes. It is close to the ocean, so when it is quiet in the evening or morning, you will hear the sound of the gulf waters. The porch has overhead lighting and a outdoor fan. First Floor: Living: You enter the living room from the outdoor porch. The living room has a sofa, long chaise lounge chair, coffee table, end tables, lamps, Cable TV . Dining area: Open to the living area where everyone can talk and watch TV together. The dining table seats 4 and there are 2 stools for eating at the island off the kitchen that is next to the dining area. Kitchen: Open to the dining area and it has a large refrigerator with freezer and ice maker, electric stove with oven, microwave, and all the kitchen items you need for making meals for your vacation. There is storage space for your grocery items. Bathroom: 1st floor full bath with tub that is next to living area. King Bedroom with a door that closes for privacy which also has room for a pack and play if needing space for a baby. The first floor King bedroom has ensuite full bath with shower. There is a comfortable chair for reading and another TV in this bedroom. Back Porch: Off the kitchen and has a BBQ grill and space to store things. There is a wagon to carry things and beach toys. AC/Heat central for the 1st floor and 2nd Mitsubishi unit on 2nd floor for total comfort during your vacation. Second Floor: Open loft with stairs from 1st floor living area. The stairs work fine except for the very young and older adults, or anyone with instability with walking and balance. This is a paradise for the kids as it has a King bed, 2 twin beds, and a TV. It works well for a couple with their own space, who also needs a child sleeping in the same room with them. The second floor has a mitsubishi AC/Heat unit that operates in addition to the downstairs unit to assure that you are comfortable during your vacation and has an easy remote upstairs by the bed for adjustment by the guest as necessary. the property comes with a couple of bikes.
