This is a beautiful home in a private setting on Ockway bay, adjacent to the New Seabury/Popponesset area. This home sits on a hill overlooking the bay and its acre plus grounds. It comes complete with a heated pool and dock, giving you access to Nantucket Sound. . Sitting on a penisula shared with only 2 other estate styled residences, this home
is perfect for peace and privacy, yet so close to everything. This includes being around the corner from Popponesset Beach, the Spit and South Cape beaches. Its also areat location if you are heading to the Popponesset Inn/New Seabury country club for a wedding or other event. It is located on the water on
Ockway bay across from Daniel's Island and Bright Coves. ,
1st floor has 9 foot ceilings, crown molding through out, walls full of windows overlooking the pool, woods and bay. The kitchen has granite counter tops and is fully applianced with gas stove, dishwasher, garb disposal, etc. The eating and family room areas are large and include a fireplace and a 65 inch tv. It comes complete with a deck area expanding the entire rear of this level. Off the front entrance / hall area is a bedroom with a queen size bed with water views.
The curved staircase leads to the 2nd floor's 2 master bedrooms. Both with queen beds, full baths and walk in closets. The larger of the 2 has a jacuzzi and a private oversized Gazebo/deck looking out over the pool, woods and Ockway Bay.
The lower level is at ground level and it has another bedroom, with a bunk bed and 2 twin beds, oversized family room with another tv setting. It has an abundance of windows overlooking the property as well and is complete with a full bath (stand up shower) and washer/dryer room. This floor is above ground and is used most often as the first floor entrance. It also has access to the pool and dock path areas that are at this level.
The design of the home is great as the flow of the house is towards the pool, dock and water areas with views of the water from every room. Take a walk down to the Dock and see the expansive water views up close. Property has 2 small kayaks or bring your own. Inquire on the use of the dock for a boat with the owner.
