This 4300 square foot, completely custom-built brand new mid-century modern home has everything you could possibly want for entertaining and large family gatherings. Three (3) bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms in the main house sleeps 7 with the other 1 bedroom and bathroom in the self-contained 900 sq. foot completely renovated cabin, sleeps 4. With all that privacy, you have the perfect house for a multi-generational family holiday. The king bed, two queen beds, double bed and the bunk beds are fitted with luxury designer linens. You have large flat screen televisions at the bar, in one of the master bedrooms (the one with the king bed), in the cabin and a large projector TV in the Family Room. Wireless internet is in the main house and the cabin. With a gorgeous heated, covered deck, beach access, fire pit, foosball, x-box, ping pong and a trampoline, there is always something to keep you and your guests entertained.

The huge south-facing backyard has a fire pit and forested trail down to your very own private beach. We provide 2 cushioned loungers on the top deck where the Master Bedrooms are and on the main deck an outdoor table that seats 6, a swing chair and a outdoor seating for 4 in the courtyard. The backyard is completely enjoyable for everybody and depending on the time of year, you may have visits from our residential deer and Eagles. Just imagine yourself relaxing in the sun on one of our two decks, taking in the extraordinary ocean views where Orcas and Porpoises swim by while listening to your favorite music on the Auriel NIles sound system. Don t forget your music - just plug your device in and have your playlist piped throughout the main floor of the house and the heated covered deck. We just installed an outdoor seating area in the courtyard with plenty of deep-seating for taking in the mountain views or staring out at the ocean!

5-burner Weber stainless propane BBQ, two wall ovens, two dishwashers and a fully equipped kitchen make it easy to have a wonderful family meal. You can dine on the outdoor dining deck overlooking the ocean and trees with designer lighting and warmth from our ceiling heater. Music from our 4-Zone Auriel Niles sound system provides the most spectacular setting for taking in the ocean views from every vantage point. Particularly at dawn and dusk, the ocean comes alive with Cruise Ships, wildlife, boaters and beachcombers.
Located in the huge common area on the main floor, the bar overlooks one of the oldest Arbutus trees on the Sunshine Coast. Sip your favorite cocktail and enjoy the game with your family while dinner is cooking in the gourmet kitchen. The kitchen island is a whopping 12 feet long and seats three. Make your perfect family meal with the ocean, Vancouver Island and Popkum Islands to be inspired by. With all of these amenities, this vacation home makes the perfect home for an extended family get-away.

THE TRAIL
The trail to the beach is the most discussed feature. It is 200 steps from the house to the beach below because it is high bank waterfront. Envision walking down through a forested trail with some flat and steep sections to the beach below. This trail was built by us and it is rudimentary. You have to go uphill to get back to the house. If you have mobility issues or in poor health, this trail will be difficult. Some have even called it treacherous. Others, including myself, can do it in slides with a beverage and about 20 other items to carry. You cannot get a canoe or kayak down this trail. It is better to go to Bonniebrook Beach. Always wear good foot wear.
THE BEACH
The beach is located on the West Coast of British Columbia. It is a typical beach with drift wood, pebbles and sandy sections, but we are not talking Florida beaches here. It’s south facing and open to the elements. You cannot see the beach from the main house. There is no dock. Swimming runs from June to September. Bring swim shoes. You will rarely ever see anyone near you.
RESERVATIONS & PAYMENT
We accept reservations through VRBO on-line. In order to reserve, we require 100% of the total cost of the reservation along with any additional rental charges for the cabin. We are not able to hold any reservations pending receipt of funds or the contract. Please be advised that VRBO processes payments through Europe and as a result, your credit card provider may charge you an international transaction fee.
CHECK-IN/CHECK-OUT
Check in time is 5:00 pm and our check-out time is 11:00 am. We are unable to offer an earlier check-in time or a later check-out time due to the cleaning requirements. Therefore, if you have an infant or young children and wish to check-in prior to 5 pm on the day of your arrival, the only way to do so is to book the property for the prior night (assuming the property is available on that day) and then you can check in at any time after 5pm the day prior to your arrival. Likewise, if you wish to check-out after 11am, the only way to do so is to book the property for the next day as well (assuming it is available) and then you can check-out at your leisure prior to 11am the following day.
It is our priority to make your stay at our home as peaceful and enjoyable as possible. The home is located in a residential neighborhood where it is important to respect our neighbors. No outside noise is permitted after 10pm; including in the front courtyard. No parking on the street. No events or parties are permitted. No additional persons permitted other than those listed in rental contract unless specifically authorized in writing by the owners. An administration fee of $1000/fine as well as any extra charges incurred will be deducted from the Damage Protection Deposit before any refund is issued. Please be advised that parties, pets and excessive noise are strictly prohibited. We expect our renters to treat the property and the neighbors with the utmost respect. Guests will be asked to leave immediately if rules are not adhered to.
