Beautifully located home, built for the purpose of hosting gatherings. Superb location for a family reunion, corporate retreat, or social gathering. This home sleeps 18 comfortably with 6 queen size beds, 1 king size bed and 8 twin size beds. Linens and beach towels are provided. All appliances are new and include 3 refrigerators, pool table, ice maker, grill, lower level bar with beverage refrigeration, humidification and allergy filter system in the walk out lower level. 2 Dishwashers, double oven, and gas 6 burner cook top and griddle. The kitchen is beautiful and well appointed, but when you don't feel like doing the cooking there is a catering partner based in the island's restaurant is available to prepare meals for a large group. Custom built family gathering table, over looking the lake and private waterfront, seats 18. Equipped with has many board games and video games for rainy days. Rental includes use of 5 kayaks and a canoe and 4 comfortable cruising bikes with helmets. Large, new dock and one large/one small mooring for visiting boats (and dinghy). Life jackets and inflatables available for use. The front yard with horse shoes is a wonderful gathering place for outdoor games; four porches provide seating for small and large groups of people for all times of day. 2 washers and 2 and dryers and multiple large closets full of organizing shelves are available as well.
Frye Island is a family and outdoors-oriented island in pristine Sebago Lake, the second largest lake in Maine. This home is the largest on the island, which has the feel of a large summer camp location with a 9-hole golf course with club house (rentals available to play), four tennis courts, community center and 13 public beaches, restaurant, store (souvenirs and food/home basics), ice cream stand and more. Day trips off of Frye Island can take you to Portland and other beautiful neighboring waterfront locations, and all that they have to offer.
