During your stay, visit the nearby soft, white sugar-sand beaches of Perdido Key and Pensacola Beach, sunbathe on the dock, bring your kayak, paddle board or fishing boat. Fish, cruise, paddle, paint, read a book, write a book, bird watch, or just get away from it all and let the world go by. The scenic bayou views are both restful and inspiring. With over 100 feet of water front on scenic Bayou Grande, the backyard dock is a great place to boat, fish, crab, use your kayak or standup paddle board (SUP). The backyard is very inviting, and has a secluded, peaceful and private feel, although there are many activities available nearby if you want to enjoy some time exploring all the area has to offer. Waterside Cottage, built in 1944, is a 1,000 square foot cottage featuring an upstairs Master Suite with King size bed and private, attached bathroom with jetted bathtub and separate shower stall. This bedroom suite also has an office nook with deck and lovely bayou view. Located on the main level of the home is the 2nd Master Suite with a Queen size bed and private, attached bathroom with shower stall. This bedroom Suite has a CRT TV. Also on the main level of the home you will find: the large eat-in kitchen with stainless gas range, cozy den with sofa, 2 rocking chairs, large flat screen TV with cable channels, plus laundry room with full size washer and dryer. Towels and sheets are provided.
