A 2 bedroom cabin on the beach of Humboldt Bay. Nestled in a eucalyptus grove 15 minutes from Arcata and Eureka, Waterfront 2 has a mid-century style in a rustic setting. Waterfront 2 is located on the 22 acre Oyster Beach, part of Humboldt Bay Social Club. Humboldt Bay Social Club is a vacation rental resort, boutique hotel, event space and Lobby Bar. Waterfront 2 was originally a fishing cabin the 100 year old property. We've retained the 180-degree views of the bay and cedar shingled-exterior. We restored the interior to reflect the cabin's mid-century roots and create two cozy bedrooms. Vintage furnishings, salvaged redwood details, exposed beams, a subway-tiled shower, and an antique Wedgwood stove create a cozy, light-filled space. A clawfoot tub on the deck adds a touch of luxury to the rustic surroundings. A beachside BBQ and fire pit create an outdoor living space that you may not ever leave (extended stays available upon request). The cabin sleeps 6. Each bedroom has a queen-sized bed and there is a pull out couch in the living room (please let us know if you would like the pull-out couch made up for your arrival). Waterfront 2 is located at the far end of Oyster Beach, just steps from the beach. There are 4 other vacation rental cabins at Oyster Beach and 4 hotel suites across the street at Samoa Field. Waterfront 2 is next door to Waterfront 1 and the other cabins are on the far end of the property. The homes can be rented together to accommodate larger groups or special events. Attention has been paid to the design of each unit to maximize guest privacy. The Bathhouse at Oyster Beach is open to all guests of Humboldt Bay Social Club. The Bathhouse features an outdoor shower and sink and two clawfoot tubs, so you can soak under the stars. Each cabin at the Social Club is outfitted with amenities to make your stay at the beach as relaxed as possible- beach chairs, towels, blankets, a cooler and ice bucket for beverages. The Lobby Bar of the Social Club is open to the public every day from 4 pm and is located across the street at Samoa Field. You will find a coupon for the Lobby Bar in your welcome binder upon check-in. In addition, guest are welcome to use the corn-hole, fire pits, picnic tables and grills at the Social Club at anytime. This reservation has a Flexible cancellation policy - refunds will be issued up to 30 days prior to the check in date. A 100% refund is provided for travellers cancelling at least 30 days before check-in. A 50% refund is provided for travellers cancelling from 14 to 29 days before check-in. No refunds are provided for travellers cancelling less than 14 days prior to check-in. CanadaStays Booking Fees are refundable if you cancel within 48 hours of placing your booking request.
