Located on a beautiful country lane, south of the highway, near Flying Point Beach in Water Mill, this handsome classic home offers an idyllic summer retreat. Upstairs has 3 beautiful bedrooms all with queen beds and each with their own bathroom. The master bedroom has an open, high turreted ceiling which adds a grandness to the room. The main floor hosts a front room with chaises and a large window seat, perfect for afternoon naps! There is a large desk to work at, complete with high-speed wireless internet connection as well as a jukebox-style CD player and a connection for your ipad, iphone or other music player, in the armoire. The living room has a large, comfortable couch, 2 club chairs, fireplace, flat screen HD TV and XBox. The gorgeous dining room is complete with large dinning table with seating for 8 that looks out over the back lawn and pool. There is an eat-in kitchen with Viking stainless steel appliances - including a wine fridge. There is also a half bath - powder room off of the kitchen, complete with laundry. The backyard is a great place to entertain and relax with high privet hedges that create comforting privacy. The 18' x 36' heated Gunite pool has 4 teak chaise lounges and 2 umbrellas on the bluestone sundeck. There is a bluestone patio off the dining room with a large Teak outdoor dining table and seating for 8, complete with gas BBQ grill. Great for those summer dinner parties you'll want to have. The large outdoor shower is great for washing off your day at the beach. Last but not least there's a great hammock in case you're not fully relaxed yet. The house is walking distance to Mecox Bay down the street, to the Luxury Liner/Jitney to Manhattan or to restaurants like Suki Zuki or Manna for dinner. Soul Cycle, Tracy Anderson Method Studio, Hampton Coffee Company, liquor store and more are just a short walk into town. Flying Point Beach is quick drive or bike away. There is central air conditioning just in case you like it cool. The drive time on summer Fridays to the house from NYC is about 2 - 2.5 hours. With no traffic its 1hr 45 mins.
