L-308 is one of the best-located oceanfront one bedroom units at Papakea. Located on the northern end of building 'L,' this fabulous unit features a larger kitchen and bathroom with double vanity sinks. The expansive windows on two sides of the living room provide a view all the way up the coastline towards Kapalua. At the corner of the lanai you have almost 270 degrees of view, more than an interior unit where you look only out the front sliding glass doors. In fact, you have twenty feet of windows for a greater, indirectly-lit view than interior units.
The upgrades includes tile flooring throughout, walk-in tiled shower and double vanity in the bathroom. Bamboo kitchen cabinets, granite counters and stainless kitchen appliances. Indirect lighting highlights the art displays and in addition to the comfortable sofa, and Lazy Boy recliner.
The Papakea resort has over twelve acres of lush tropical grounds with meandering walkways passing by Koi fish and tropical lily ponds. Two lighted tennis courts, two ocean view swimming pools each with a shaded cabana, two poolside spas, with free fitness classes and morning yoga and swimercise, two 12-hole putting greens, a shuffle board and six lighted grills by the pool. Tucked away from the road, Papakea's wide ocean frontage offers the best vantage points for watching swimming sea turtles and breaching humpbacked whales during the winter season and glowing sunsets all year long. Have your morning coffee or tea on the private lanai and enjoy the waves. You can dine at numerous nearby restaurants and Food Trucks or kick back and grill by the pool. Sunset sails leave from the beach at Kaanapali. Or simply relax on the lanai overlooking the ocean and read a good book.
Occupancy is limited to a maximum of two guests. This is the perfect place for a honeymoon or to celebrate your anniversary. From morning coffee to sunset cocktail you have a front row seat to observe the beauty of the ocean and neighbor islands. PLEASE NOTE: See "notes under Rate Section - For bookings of less than 7 nights there is a cleaning fee added. Also, we reserve the right to decline a short booking in the middle of longer open period. Short stays must fall at one end or the other of a longer open time. Summary: This corner unit is perfectly located and could not be better equipped for every vacation need but Ron is extremely responsive and easy to contact should any need arise. We have been coming to Papakea for 40 years/ 23 stays and just love the grounds, the amenities and the tranquility. If you are looking for a peaceful oceanfront escape with a stunning outlook this will not disappoint.
