Mount White is a slice of heaven and the whole area is one of Australia's best-kept secrets. Nestled between rolling, green pastures and magnificent mountain ranges, it offers a serene balance of suburban and rural elements. You will love the stay here and have to venture out of the home to explore some of the amazing restaurants in the area. We would say a visit to the Estuary Waterfront Seafood Restaurant and bar is an absolute must. To visit our home you will have to arrive by car. Other things to note Studio: There is a studio adjacent to the house were a friend of the owner stays most of the time. You will most likely meet her during your stay but total privacy at the house is ensured. Air conditioning: Is currently installed in the living space only. Bedrooms all have fans. Access to the house: The road up to our house is partly unpaved. While most standard cars make it up without an issue if you have a low or precious car we ask you to consider if the home is the right choice for you. TV and Internet: Wandana has a Foxtel cable TV connection. The house is in a location with poor Internet reception. Guests will be able to get a good Telstra signal upstairs for their cell phones and so can stay in touch with their favorite applications and messaging services. However the house internet can be slow and unreliable which makes streaming movies or downloading content at times frustrating! We would recommend bringing an external drive with any movies or TV shows that you want to watch and connect it to the TV. Or, you can just open a bottle of wine and sit out gazing at the moon and the stars and beautiful reflections off the Hawkesbury river waters! Enjoy. Firewood: Needs to be provided by guests. Can be purchased at the local petrol station. Septic System: The home is on a septic tank. This means it's really important no harsh chemicals are used in the house as it breaks the balance and will mean the home will not be used for future guests. Water: All water used at the house is rainwater. It's very precious and we ask you to use it with consideration for future guests. Noise Policy: We always follow strict noise regulations and ask you to be respectful and considerate. While our home is secluded we do not accept any party bookings. The home is best suited to families and mature travel groups. Age Limit: We do not accept reservations for groups with travellers under the age of 23 years unless a specific exception has been approved. If you are a family traveling with supervised children, you can proceed with the booking. The home is perfect for families or mature groups of travellers. Supplies: A complimentary welcome pack will be provided that includes several single-use items to get you started including tea, coffee, sugar, milk, soap, laundry, and dishwashing supplies. For extended stays, we ask you to remember to bring extra provisions.. Note: Age Limit: We do not accept reservations for groups with travelers under the age of 23 years old unless a specific exception has been approved. If you are a family traveling with supervised children you can proceed with the booking. ID: We will require ID verification in order to provide additional information about check-in. One of our team members will send a link within 24 hours after booking where the ID needs to be submitted. The information will be securely stored in accordance with Australian privacy laws. Payment: A 10% deposit is due upon booking. The remaining balance is charged 7 days before arrival. Security Deposit: A security deposit of $750 will be collected in the 3 days prior to arrival. that stays fully refundable at the end of your stay as long as the property is returned in its original condition. Credit Card Fees: A 1.5% credit card fee is included in the booking price. Cancelation Policy: Cancel up to 7 days before arrival free of charge with a refund of the deposit. If cancelation is made after the commencement of a stay the remaining nights in the reservation are non-refundable.
