Summary: Most things were great about our stay. Tom was very easy to communicate with, the location of the property is about as good as it gets in terms of proximity to both the beach and in town, the beds were SUPER comfortable (possibly the best bed I've ever slept in...downstairs bedroom), the gas fireplace was great for a few cool nights and the family room was nice and comfortable. The water was smelly (sulfur in the water) but there was a good-size water cooler in the kitchen for drinking water. The decor is a bit dated, but everything worked and was comfortable. The only thing that could have been better was that we didn't find out until the day before we were to arrive that linens and kitchen 'extras' (the typical salt, pepper, condiments, etc.that you expect to find at a cottage) were NOT provided, due to Covid. This was our 4th rental this summer and the first where they weren't available. Tom was very helpful in that he reimbursed us for the King sheets we had to buy the day of when we discovered that the downstairs bedroom had a King bed (listed as a Queen on the website.) It all ended up OK, and I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who likes the Sauble area!
