Escape to Encinitas for a wonderful time at the beach and local attractions. Hwy 101 has wonderful restaurants and shops to explore and you can also walk to the infamous Swami's surf spot. Enjoy a cup of coffee on the east deck or head to the west deck and enjoy a beautiful ocean view. This is "home away from home" for many of our guests.
The sunsets are spectacular so bring your camera to capture the vibrant colors.

There are more than 30 restaurants with an impressive variety of cuisines to tempt any palette. The stores and boutiques are wonderful and you can spend hours walking from shop to shop. Also, enjoy the Swami's Meditation Gardens on the bluff, breathtaking! Beaches Walking distance to the famous Swami's beach for families and those who want to surf this iconic break. Moonlight Beach is at the end of Encinitas Blvd so just a few minutes' drive. Location Located five streets west of Hwy 5 and 1 block east of 101 and in walking distance to Swami's Beach, a few minutes drive to Moonlight Beach, 4 minutes to the San Diego Botanical Gardens, 10 minutes to Legoland, 20 minutes to Sea World and 23 miles to the airport. This cute 1940's beach cottage sits on a large lot in the Highlands area of Encinitas.
Great Location This is an adorable house in a great location within walking distance of Downtown Encinitas 101 and the beach. It is quiet and located in one of the most coveted neighborhoods in coastal Encinitas. Come and relax with family and friends. Local Events - Guests stay here for; local races, the Race Track, Legoland, Street Fairs, the Del Mar Fair, the Zoo, Kaboo, Switchfoot Concert at Moonlight Beach!
We have a guest laundry room or we provide concierge laundry services so you can enjoy being on vacation. Leave your laundry in the bin and when you return from a fun day, it will be clean and folded. We provide bed linens, pillows and blankets, and beach towels.

Summary: Our family had such a nice stay in Encinitas. Mary was a gracious host and was so welcoming but also gave us privacy. The place was perfect for us since we could cook there. The pullout couch bed was comfortable as was the other bed in the back bedroom. There is a big open area that is fenced behind the place and Mary lives in a place adjacent to the rental. The property is in a very nice location where you can walk to Swami's Beach or downtown or go along the Rail Trail. The kitchen was fully stocked which was very helpful. There are some downstairs tenants sometimes but they were not there when we were there.
