Summary: This home is in the ideal location if you want to spend time at the beach and hangout in St. Armand's circle (shopping/restaurants) - both are easily walkable. The home had a majority of supplies needed: beach equipment, kitchen tools, extra sheets/towels, parking space. It was clean. Two things I will mention... 1. This is not a super simple Vrbo rental process. You not only have to book through Vrbo, but you have a whole separate process through the property management company. While the property manager tried to simplify it, there were added steps of filling out forms, submitting ID photos, and extra application fees. The prices stated on the app and from the application form did not align. After booking, you have to coordinate check-in/out processes, maintenance needs, or questions through the company. They do what they can, but it seems they manage a lot of properties and I often had to leave voicemails or things got lost in communication amongst their team. It felt more like a hotel experience, than a rental from a single host who knows the property like the back of their hand. Not necessarily a problem - just different. 2. If you're one of the first rentals of season, I would recommend asking them to turn on the AC, hot water, electronics, BEFORE you arrive. We had 3 days without hot water, the AC needed a few days to register, and the TV didn't work. We stayed there during the Christmas holidays and felt horrible asking for them to "send someone out" for each need. I can't imagine that these issues persist into the season.
