This 1,300 square foot unit offers a beautiful space with custom and brand new, well, let’s see…everything! The first thing you see when you walk down the stairs is a full size kitchen filled with custom cabinetry, granite counter tops and a decorative tile backsplash. All appliances are stainless steel and include a full size refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave & dishwasher. In the center of the kitchen is a table, or island, which is a permanent fixture (with electrical), and can be used for additional space for cooking and/or as a dining table. The table is surrounded by four new, comfy barstools and custom pendant lighting, which adds charm and character, while the recessed lighting adds function throughout. A small TV is mounted on the wall and serves as a second TV area. The kitchen is thoughtfully stocked with everything you might need to make you feel right at home. It’s well appointed with new and well cared for cooking and bakeware, toaster, blender, Instant Pot, Keurig and everything in between, as well as, dishware and beautiful crystal barware.
The living room is furnished with a new and comfortable sofa and love seat. Relax and enjoy your favorite show on the brand new 55” screen TV. In addition to the living space, we created a separate cozy niche in front of the gas fireplace. Enjoy super comfy chairs, the warmth of the fireplace and/or relax with a good book and/or a glass of wine. Decorative molding, baseboards and new laminate flooring move throughout the entire unit. All that said, this is a basement unit with a standard ceiling height.
Two gorgeous French, double doors lead to each bedroom and offer new queen mattresses, walk-in closets with shelving, full size windows, new, cozy bedding and new decorative headboards.
The bathroom/laundry room is amazing and includes custom cabinetry, granite countertops with tile backsplash, a beautiful floor-to-ceiling decorative tile wall, a tub/shower combination, a new washer and dryer, recessed lighting and a wall heater. The bathroom is generously stocked with towels of all sizes, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, a hair dryer, as well as, many basic items you may have forgotten from home.
This single family residence has a completely separate entrance through the side gate. It has a large, secure fence with a back patio and several garden beds. An outdoor table and chairs is a perfect spot for a cup of coffee to start your day or a beverage at night before turning in. A new high quality gas BBQ is also available for your use. The space doesn’t have AC, but because it's a lower level unit and has dual paned windows, it stays cooler than most homes. Fans and cooling devices are available.
We are located in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood and offer street parking only. We are 3 blocks to the lake, the 11th Street Marina and Tubbs Hill, 2 blocks off the Centennial Trail, and a 15 minute walk to downtown CdA. McEuen Park and the CdA Resort are the hub of beautiful downtown Coeur d'Alene. There you will find the best restaurants, bars, cafes and boutique shops that Coeur d’Alene has to offer. Although subject to change, Farmers Markets run Wednesdays 4-7, May-October, as well as, live music every Wednesday and Friday throughout the summer months. Both City Beach and Park, and the newly developed McEuen Park, at the base of Tubbs Hill, and its miles of breathtaking hiking trails are a perfect place for travelers to spend the day, attend a concert or participate in one of a handful of races, including CDA Marathon and Half Ironman. There are many other wonderful events put on during the year such as Artwalk, Art on the Green, Car d’Lane, Tree Lighting Ceremony, 4th of July and New Year’s firework displays. In the warmer months, bring a bike, or rent one, and hop on the Centennial Trail right 2 blocks away from the house. This 24 mile trail meanders from Idaho/Washington state line along the Spokane River to Higgins Point on beautiful Lake Coeur d’Alene, wiith many fun stops along the way, including Riverstone, where you could catch a movie, grab a bite to eat or browse one of the many trendy local shops.
Kayak and paddle board rentals are also available downtown. Rent for one day or multiple days for a discount. Included in your rental is a quick drop off service down to the water. Coeur d’Alene Bike company will store your bikes and helmets for you when not in use.
You could spend your entire visit walking and biking CDA and never run out of things to do. But for those wanting to do a little more exploring there are never ending hikes and things to do within short drives of Coeur d’Alene. Silverwood Water and Theme park is located just 16 miles away and just 5 miles to TriplePlay water park. Hiawatha Trail is located just past Lookout Pass on the Border to Montana and just under 60 min drive. Rent a bike at Lookout pass, they will provide the bike carrier and ride the 17 mile almost entirely downhill bike ride through train trestles and train tunnels. And then catch the bus back up. Just make sure to get your bus ticket so you can ride back up to the top on the bus.
Winter months are also a wonderful time to visit CDA. We are lucky enough to be within an hour drive to FOUR ski resorts. Schweitzer, Mt. Spokane, Lookout and Silver mountain. Not only is the city lit up in beautiful holiday lights but there are lots of local events going on that time of year and endless snow shoe and cross country skiing trails in addition to downhill.
