Location, location, location!!! This spacious mountain retreat is in the BEST location in the Sapphire & Cashiers area; a short 5 minute walk to the resort along the “River Walk” path that starts just behind the home, but tucked just far enough away on the Horsepasture River to enjoy the serenity of the sounds of the river from the deck or the Adirondack chairs around the fire pit. Kids 14 and older can visit the resort on their own by by foot or bike.
FEATURES: The home offers 2 king primary bedrooms, a full bedroom (all three with in suite bathrooms) and a large bunk bed room (sleeps 3). The large, open floor plan home has a well stocked kitchen, back deck with comfy seating and dining areas and a Weber gas grill, and a large formal dining area with plenty of room for all guests. Game table, games, books, puzzles and movies for time at home are waiting for you in den which features a stacked stone wood-burning fireplace.
ACTIVITIES: The Sapphire Resort amenities including 3 heated pools, fitness gym, tennis courts, ski slopes, game room, billiards, ping-pong, putt-putt, golf course, driving range, walking track, new dog park, basketball court, children’s playground and more. In the heart of Waterfall country, you’ll be just a short drive to the hike of your choosing.
LOCATION: Less than 3 miles from the Cashiers crossroads where there are festivals galore, great restaurants, and shops. About 11 miles to the Gorges State Park home of Turtleback Falls and Rainbow Falls. Less than a mile to Fairfield Lake (you’ll have private lake access while visiting this home) with boat rentals and swimming beach and 7 miles to Lake Glenville. The home is in an easy in and out location just off Highway 64 that is 2.5 miles from the “Crossroads” (downtown Cashiers) and less than 1 mile to the Sapphire Valley resort entrance.
COMFORT: While some rentals skimp on the bedding, we SPLURGED! Tempurpedic king, new high quality 2nd King and full bedroom mattresses. Even the bunk-bed room has the same high quality mattresses we have at our primary home.
Kitchen is well stocked with quality pots and pans, plenty of plates and bowls for all, blender, cappuccino machine, coffee maker (filters provided), Keurig, kettle, built-in microwave, crock pot, blender, and toaster oven. Plenty of cooking and prep tools as well and a Weber gas grill on the back deck.
Come enjoy the mountains with all the comforts of home. My family loves it and we hope yours will, too!
