Positive: The property was exactly as depicted in the photos - spacious, well-maintained and beautifully integrated into the natural surroundings. One of the highlights for us was the outdoor shower, which provided an unforgettable experience. The outdoor garden area was another favorite. One of the real charms of the property was the frequent animal sightings right around the unit.
Negative: There was one small issue upon our arrival. The property was without power due to damage to a transformer during a recent storm. While this wasn't ideal, the owner was incredibly helpful and organized a generator to keep the fridge running and ensure we could charge our phones. The only downside was that the generator was quite noisy, which did somewhat detract from the usual peace and tranquility of Marloth Park. There was also no air-conditioning available while running on the generator.
Summary: Overall, we had a good stay at Vuurvliegie and would definitely recommend it.
